STANDING UP FOR GOD - We can thank God that He doesn’t ask us to do scary things like jump in a hot, fiery furnace to prove He can save us, right? But we live in a world where a lot of people don’t know God. When someone doesn’t understand God, how do they sometimes respond when we tell them we believe in Him? There are many answers to this, but being mean, making fun, and feeling confused are a few. “Only someone who has God’s Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn’t have God’s Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish.” Check out our children’s devotional lesson over at Cornerstone Confessions, where we talk about some of the ways that children can respond when they find themselves in situations where they are being teased or made fun of. Christianity Cove is the web’s #1 resource for Sunday School lesson ideas, crafts, games, activities and tips for teachers.
