Innumerable Christians are willingly engaging in occultic behavior, and it's not only on Halloween.

"For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and revealed" (Luke 8:17).

I once heard about a Spirit-filled pastor who strategically avoided watching certain questionable movies at theaters in his home town, instead driving an hour away to watch them in obscurity.

He didn't want his choice of entertainment to be known, so he would head to the city to hide. This is an occultic maneuver.

Sadly, it has become common to hear about yet another Christian pastor or minister who has been exposed.

Their secret life of sin was discovered, and the fallout is always devastating.

Many go to great lengths to cover up their indiscretions, and they leave a trail of destruction that reaches far and wide.

The Bible gives us a clear instruction to expose the darkness, yet today, too many Christians are doing the opposite, living secretive lives, sinning regularly and enjoying their dark, temporarily pleasurable deception.

"For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14).

Before you start pointing a crooked finger at others, consider your own life. Is it possible you are driven by the occult as well?

Have you created a system of checks and balances to ensure your private life is not exposed?

How well does your mask fit?

Are you sweet, holy and appropriate in public and altogether different in private or with your family?

This is the occult at work, and it is a killer spirit.

Halloween Every Day of the Year

I personally believe it's absolute foolishness for Christians to participate in Halloween, and I've written on it quite a bit in the past.

Over my last 25 years of ministry, I have had many encounters with witchcraft and the evil that is celebrated on Halloween, and I implore you to trust me: If you participate in Halloween at any level, you are at risk.

There is nothing innocent about it and there is no way to sanctify it. The stories I could tell would make your skin crawl.

The level of demonic activity around the world on this night should result in millions of Christians gathering together to pray on fire in response.

We must understand that a key role for us as Christians is to expose darkness.

Strangely, instead of doing that with anointing and passion, when October rolls around, Christians—actual blood bought servants of a holy God — are actually enjoying and promoting darkness.

If we understood the evil that surrounds this unholy day, we'd shout from the rooftops the danger and evil that is overcoming our culture.

It might shock you to consider that you may oppose Halloween while still vigorously affirming the occult. 

It's one thing to stand opposed to the clear, demonic and evil activities that surround Halloween, but if we embrace those same demons in the hopes they will help us hide our 365-day-a-year sin, we are deeply deceived — and in a lot of trouble.

As dark as Halloween is, and it is extremely dark, I propose the occult that's present in so many devoted Christians the rest of the year is even more deadly.

Covering up immorality will devour even the most devoted religious person.

"Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8).

Porn, Lust and Other Secrets

"For you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light — for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth" (Ephesians 5:8-9).

I believe one of the most valuable attributes of a healthy marriage is transparency. Not only is it a catalyst for intimacy, but it diffuses the darkness.

When Amy and I we were first married 24 years ago, we agreed to alert other the moment we found ourselves even the slightest bit attracted to someone else in an unhealthy manner.

If there was an emotional connection initiating, or if unrighteous thoughts attempted to come in regarding another person, we were quick to share that.

The result? It was diffused.

Our voluntary accountability and devotion to bring things into the light not only immediately diffused a few specific situations, but it resulted in a culture within our marriage that was not conducive to immoral and threatening feelings and behaviors flourishing.

This commitment to each other has expanded to most every part of our lives.

My wife, Amy, knows she can access any device I own, any computer, any phone and any tablet and freely search through them. She can check my history.

I can do the same on her devices. Any inappropriate pictures, videos, messages or material would be easily discovered.

We are both grateful to God that porn, lust or impure media is not a part of our lives, and our entire marriage from start to where we are now is a testament to that.

It feels good to be squeaky clean, and thanks to the empowering of the Holy Spirit, the darkness never has to overtake us. The occult must give way to the light!

I want to encourage you to reject deceptive, occultic strategies.

Don't hide the various compartments of your life, but rather be an open book.

Don't live in fear of being exposed, but readily invite scrutiny in. You can be completely, entirely free from lust, pornography, anger, addictions, immorality and every other behavior and vice!

This means you will make a dramatic shift in the direction of holiness.

Celebrate the opportunity to eliminate questionable television and movies.

Get excited about shutting out secular music in favor of Holy Spirit-anointed worship music.

Allow joy to replace your anger. You can finally be free from everything you've been trying to hide. The light of Jesus will certainly bring freedom to you and your family!

You will then become a mighty threat to the darkness, ready to expose it, devoted to assaulting the devils that are celebrated by so many this time of year.

And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness; instead, expose them.

For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

But all things are exposed when they are revealed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead and Christ will give you light" (Ephesians 5:11-14).

Freemasonry - Some Background
Freemasonry is veiled in assorted levels of secrecy, legend, and misunderstanding.

Throughout the decades, this "social" organization has been referred to as a Christian brotherhood.

Others consider it a fraternity of the occult.

Freemasonry is often the target of conspiracy theorists, who allege that Masons are responsible for orchestrating entire political, financial and cultural movements throughout the world.

For purposes of this website, we will limit our discussion of history, lore and legend, and focus on the basic "doctrinal" positions of today's Freemasonry - although the "basics" can even be hidden or misunderstood in various parts of the Order.

Freemasonry - Some Basics
Freemasonry is referred to by numerous names. Some of these names include: the Brotherhood, the Craft, the Order, and the Lodge.

Blue Lodge (more formally known as Symbolic Lodge) consists of three degrees: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason.

The three degrees are a progression with the goal being to become a Master Mason.

Master Mason is the highest degree attainable in Symbolic Lodge.

There are an additional 29 degrees in the Scottish Rite, and an additional 9 degrees in the York Rite.

The 33rd degree is an honorary degree which cannot be sought. One has to be recommended for it.

Various signs, tokens, and secrets are made known to the Mason as he graduates to higher levels or degrees.

One of the most known symbols for Masonry is the letter "G."

Depending on whose interpretation you believe, this symbol can represent geometry, God, or gnosis.

Christians traditionally interpret the symbol as God, whereas others within the Order define it as knowledge or gnosis.

There is a great deal of secrecy in Freemasonry.

From the beginning, the Entered Apprentice is kept in the shadows regarding the full meaning of Masonry's symbols and ceremonies.

A member of the Lodge only receives further enlightenment as he rises through the degrees.

Each Mason must swear a series of oaths to keep the secrets of the Craft as he learns them.

He also agrees to severe penalties if he ever lets them slip. "Freemasons are emphatically called the Sons of Light, because they are in possession of the true meaning of the symbol; while the profane or uninitiated who have not received this knowledge are said to be in darkness." (Albert Mackey, Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, 1946)

As the Mason passes through the degrees of the Lodge, he receives true light, and is considered elevated above those who have not had the mysteries of Freemasonry revealed to them.

Freemasonry - Is It a Religion?
The Mason's official position states that Freemasonry is not a religion.

"Masons who treat it as such are mistaken. Freemasonry strongly encourages its members to belong to an established religion, although this is not a requirement for membership (only that a candidate profess a belief in a Supreme Being). Masonry is a fraternal organization that encourages morality and charity and studies philosophy. It has no clergy, no sacraments, and does not promise salvation to its members" (Roger Firestone, Difficult Questions About Freemasonry, 2002).

A close assessment of the degrees of Freemasonry uncovers a basic theology that lies beneath everything in the Order.

The degrees instruct that: There is a Supreme Being who created the universe, who has established and revealed a moral law, and to whom we must give account in a life after this.

Masons argue that nothing in these five points, which are supported by all the materials, lectures and "working tools" of the degrees, conflicts with any of the major religions of the Western world.

As such, all religions are welcome to participate in the Brotherhood, and thus, it should not be deemed a "religious" organization.

"The true Mason is not creed-bound. He realizes with the divine illumination of his lodge that as a Mason his religion must be universal: Christ, Buddha, or Mohammed, the name means little, for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer" (Manly Hall, The Lost Keys of Freemasonry, 1976).

Many scholars call Freemasonry the "unifier" of all religions.

"It is the universal, eternal, immutable religion, such as God planted it in the heart of universal humanity." (Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma, 1950)

"Every Masonic Lodge is a temple of religion; and its teachings are instruction in religion." (Pike)

"Masonry is all that remains to us of the first world religion" which flourished in ancient times.

"It was the first unified world religion. Today we are working again towards a world universal religion" (Foster Bailey, The Spirit of Masonry, 1979).

Freemasonry - The Nature of God
Although Freemasonry requires members to acknowledge a "god" in order to be accepted into the Lodge, the god of Freemasonry and the God of the Bible are not the same.

There is a great difference between the two concepts of God.

The Masonic god, "The Great Architect of the Universe" (G.A.O.T.U), or the "Grand Artificer of the Universe," is an all-inclusive "Life Principle" that lies within all living things.

In Freemasonry, god is not a personal being, but an impersonal force, an energy that has no substance.

In theistic terms, this belief is known as pantheism.

As the unifier of all religions, Freemasonry holds that "the Christian, the Hebrew, the Moslem, the Brahmin, the followers of Confucius and Zoroaster, can assemble as brethren and unite in prayer to the one god who is above all the Baalim." (Pike, Morals and Dogma)

In other words, the biblical God is reduced to the level of all the other gods and rendered as equal with the gods of those religions.

Therefore, by definition, Freemasonry is a "religion" of plurality that strips all others of their uniqueness.

Freemasonry - The Nature of Jesus
Freemasonry has adopted a pluralist approach toward Jesus Christ.

Generally, Masonry teaches, "Jesus was just a man. He was one of the exemplars, one of the great men of the past, but not divine and certainly not the only means of redemption of lost mankind. He was on a level with other great men of the past like Aristotle, Plato, Pythagoras and Mohammed. His life and legend were no different from that of Krishna, the Hindu god. He is the son of Joseph, not the Son of God." (Jim Shaw, The Deadly Deception, 1988)

In Masonry, Jesus Christ is not to be looked upon as the Savior, Redeemer or God incarnate.

He is to be viewed as no different than any other great prophet, spiritual leader or guru.

The Lodge does not permit the name of Jesus or Christ to be used in any of its prayers or rituals, and when the Bible is used in ceremonies, all scriptural references to Jesus are removed.

"All prayers in Mason lodges should be directed to the one deity to whom all Masons refer to as the Grand Architect of the Universe." (The Maryland Master Mason, March 1973)

Freemasonry - Are There Any Implications For Christians?
Freemasonry is responsible for many noble causes.

Nobody can deny the social and charitable works done by the Brotherhood.

However, as a "religious" institution, there are beliefs and practices in Masonry that are incompatible with biblical Christianity.

The Mason who professes to be a Christian must decide whom he will serve: the God of the Bible or the god of Freemasonry.

He cannot serve both. Ultimately, every Christian who participates in Masonry must ask himself, "What does the Lodge teach us to do with Jesus Christ?"

"The Mason who is a Christian is put in a very difficult position. Although his Fraternal Order supported his Christianity in its early years, it now no longer allows for it, as there is no question about the pagan orientation of Freemasonry in our day. Therefore, the Mason must ask himself whether he can, in good faith, remain a part of an organization that devalues the God of Christianity." (Russ Wise, Freemasonry and the Christian Church, 2002)

As a reminder to professing Christians, Jesus said: "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 10:33 (KJV)

We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. 

God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. 

Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible.

If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

We live in an age when people want to mix the contents of many mystical faiths into the boiling pot of their own pseudo-Christian religion.

Most do not know that the basic claim of Scripture is simple and clear.

Only God, the Almighty Yahweh, is truly God.

“Kundalini” is a Sanskrit word meaning coiled.

In Hindu mythology and occult anatomy, the goddess Kundalini is thought of as a female serpent lying dormant at the base of the spine.

Interestingly the Bible describes Satan as a serpent (Genesis 3:1; Revelation 12:9; Revelation 20:2).

Coincidence?

Kundalini is falsely believed to be the Divine Cosmic Energy in bodies.

When aroused by yoga practices, she uncoils, travels up the spine opening the alleged psychic centers called chakras in the process.

Yoga authorities have said that all yoga is ultimately kundalini yoga and that yoga is meaningless without it.

What Are the Symptoms of Kundalini?

NOTE: most of the references and quotes used here on the “Kundalini syndrome” are in support of it.

I have put them in to enforce the fact that this is occultism and not of God.

Even those in the occult that practice “Kundalini” and other forms of mediation have strong warnings for those who are NOT properly trained in its “releasing” and the physical, mental and emotional damage that occurs.

Imagine how worse off the typical Christian is when thinking it’s of God and wanting more.

“Kundalini-syndrome. This psycho-spiritual and transformative process is believed to occur in connection with a near-death experience, or with prolonged, intensive spiritual or contemplative practice, as practiced within a few sub-disciplines of meditation or yoga.”

o  The process is not always sudden and dramatic. It can also start slowly and increase gradually in activity over time.

o  If the accompanying symptoms unfold in an intense manner that destabilizes the person, the process is usually interpreted as a spiritual emergency.

o  Studies have suggested some common criteria that describe this condition, of which the most prominent feature is a feeling of energy or heat rushing up the spine

o  The feeling of cranial pressures

o  The perception of inner sounds

o  Experiences of inner lights

o  Vibrating or tickling sensations in the lower back

o  Tachycardia (rapid heart rate)

o  Changes in breathing

o  Spontaneous bodily movements

o  Sensations of heat or cold moving through the body

o  Localized bodily pain that starts and stops abruptly

o  Vibrations and itching under the skin

o  Unusual, or intense, sexual sensations

o  Mental and affective symptoms fear, anxiety, depersonalization

o  Intense positive or negative emotions

o  Spontaneous slowing or speeding of thoughts

o  Spontaneous trance states

o  Experiencing oneself as larger than the physical body

o  Experiences of paranormal consciousness

The following are common manifestations of the risen Kundalini:

o  Muscle twitches, cramps or spasms.

o  Energy rushes or immense electricity circulating the body

o  Itching, vibrating, prickling, tingling, stinging or crawling sensations

o  Intense heat or cold

o  Involuntary bodily movements (occur more often during meditation, rest or sleep): jerking, tremors, shaking; feeling an inner force pushing one into postures or moving one’s body in unusual ways.  (May be misdiagnosed as epilepsy, restless legs syndrome (RLS), or PLMD.)

o  Alterations in eating and sleeping patterns

o  Episodes of extreme hyperactivity or, conversely, overwhelming fatigue (some CFS victims are experiencing Kundalini awakening)

o  Intensified or diminished sexual desires

o  Headaches, pressures within the skull

o  Racing heartbeat, pains in the chest

o  Digestive system problems

o  Numbness or pain in the limbs (particularly the left foot and leg)

o  Pains and blockages anywhere; often in the back and neck (Many cases of FMS are Kundalini-related.)

o  Emotional outbursts; rapid mood shifts; seemingly unprovoked or excessive episodes of grief, fear, rage, depression

o  Spontaneous vocalizations (including laughing and weeping) — are as unintentional and uncontrollable as hiccoughs

o  Hearing an inner sound or sounds, classically described as a flute, drum, waterfall, birds singing, bees buzzing but which may also sound like roaring, whooshing, or thunderous noises or like ringing in the ears.

o  Mental confusion; difficulty concentrating

o  Altered states of consciousness: heightened awareness; spontaneous trance states; mystical experiences (if the individual’s prior belief system is too threatened by these, they can lead to bouts of psychosis or self-grandiosity)

o  Heat, strange activity, and/or blissful sensations in the head, particularly in the crown area.

o  Ecstasy, bliss and intervals of tremendous joy, love, peace and compassion

o  Psychic experiences: extrasensory perception; out-of-body experiences; pastlife memories; astral travel; direct awareness of auras and chakras; contact with spirit guides through inner voices, dreams or visions; healing powers

o  Increased creativity: new interests in self-expression and spiritual communication through music, art, poetry, etc.

o  Intensified understanding and sensitivity: insight into one’s own essence; deeper understanding of spiritual truths; exquisite awareness of one’s environment (including “vibes” from others)

o  Enlightenment experiences: direct Knowing of a more expansive reality; transcendent awareness

Outside of the short-term physical effects of Kundalini, nothing produces more wonder and curiosity than the reported mental effects.

Along the path of raising Kundalini, yogis like Swami Saraswati reveal that some participants may experience mental clarity to the extent of supernatural ability.

Likewise, without the guidance of trained Kundalini instructors, a person can experience confusion, depression, hallucinations and other unpleasant mental disturbances.”

Come into my life now, Lord.

“Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior.

“From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands.

“I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
