IT'S TIME TO SHIFT YOUR SEASON - God has a new beginning for YOU. If you see something in your life that you don't like commit it to God in prayer. Ask God for His power, grace and strength. The Holy Spirit can give you one simple idea that can make a huge difference. Prophesy out loud to the situation. You carry divine authority in your words. Don't just speak what you see in the natural. Speak the mind of God and the word of God over the situation. Command it to line up to God's truth. Then obey God in what He tells you to do. As you step out in faith and obey God, you will see the change set into motion. The big key here is adding action to your faith. God is releasing NEW BEGINNINGS in people's lives. I know you can experience that new beginning. No season is permanent. God is a God of restoration, forgiveness, healing and He is amazing at making all things new. Maybe you need a new beginning in different ways. Maybe you have been going through a difficult season fighting spiritual warfare. Or maybe there has been a relationship conflict in your life. Or maybe you need some circumstances to shift and change. Or maybe you have been struggling with the flesh and need a fresh cleansing by the blood of Jesus. One thing I have learned is that as Christians we have the power to co-labor with God and participate in the shifting of our season. What you accept in your life is what will be.

When you begin to get a glimpse of God's amazing love, grace and goodness your faith is impacted and you begin to see that God has something GOOD for you.

Here are some simple steps you can apply to your life today to see a NEW BEGINNING released for you.

If you have been struggling with your flesh or a sin, spend time waiting on God.

Confess your sin to Him. Ask Him for forgiveness and to cleanse you.

Then ask Him to set you free and deliver you from any darkness you may have opened a door to.

Renew your mind with the truth that God is a good God and is working all things for your good.

Lift your heart by focusing on the fact that God is working even when you can't see it. This is called trust.

Trusting God will give you peace and release joy in your heart.

If you see something in your life that you don't like, first commit it to God in prayer.

Ask God for His power, grace and strength.

Then ask what changes you can make to participate in the shift you want to see.

Usually in breakthrough and a shift of season God will lead you to take an action.

As you step out in faith and obey God, you will see the change set into motion.

The big key here is adding action to your faith.

Many people miss this part and they end up in cycles of delay. You can break delay, by adding action to your faith.

God has a new beginning for YOU. Apply these principles to your life today and watch the new beginning take place!

VICTORIOUS EVEN IN FIERY TRIALS - Do you smell like smoke? - The Bible reminds all believers that we will be put through fire. First Peter talks about how gold is purified through fire, and our faith, which is much more valuable than gold, will also be proven through fiery trials and distress. Fire comes to all who believe. And if we, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, are courageous enough to withstand the test with our faith intact, it will be purified and proven, and become something much more precious than gold. When the presence of God is with you in the midst of the fire, you can survive it! But survival isn't enough — you can have been in the fire without even smelling like smoke! We've all seen what it's like when someone still carries around the lingering residue of whatever trial they walked through. No matter how hot the fire, or how long it burns, we are convinced that our God is for us and can rescue us, He will be with us in the fire.

Do you smell like smoke? Being victorious even in fiery trials

“They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.” Daniel 3:27b NIV

Until moving to Illinois a few years ago, I had only known fire in tiki-torches, or fireplaces. I was in my forties the first time I sat around an open fire and warmed myself.
Image result for images Shadrach, Meshach, and AbednegoMy husband and I both loved doing so, and bought our own tiny fire pit. Whenever we got the chance we would sit outside and watch the fire jump and crack.
This may sound ridiculous to Northerners, but I had no idea that sitting near a fire deposited a really strong smell on a person.
Like, everything you were wearing has to be washed immediately, especially your hair and body!
The first few times I sat by the fire I wore my nice wool coat, and subsequently walked around for weeks smelling like roasted wood. Fire has a very distinct odor!
The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego has always been one of my favorites in the old testament because there are so many facets of Faith that are exhibited in those passages.
I could spend all day re-reading their pre-punishment pronouncement: "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. BUT IF NOT, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods" (Daniel 3:17-18 KJV).
Image result for images Shadrach, Meshach, and AbednegoI love that so much, because they acknowledge that he might not choose to rescue them, but they want to make sure the record shows that even as they burn to ashes they will be firm, confident believers in his power to rescue!
Recently my mind began to dwell on the very last part of their story, when they were brought back out of the fiery furnace. The king, who was immediately transformed into a believer of the Most High God, marveled at their condition.
The report says "...upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, Neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them" (Daniel 3:27, KJV).
The Bible reminds all believers that we will be put through fire.
First Peter talks about how gold is purified through fire, and our faith, which is much more valuable than gold, will also be proven through fiery trials and distress.
Fire comes to all who believe. And if we, like the three boys, are courageous enough to withstand the test with our faith intact, it will be purified and proven, and become something much more precious than gold.
I love how The Message explains the point of proven faith in 1 Peter 1:7, "It's your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of His victory."
Image result for images Shadrach, Meshach, and AbednegoAlthough each of you reading this have experienced a very unique journey with your special needs child, I know that we have the shared testimony of the very hot fire known as a scary diagnosis, continued and new daily challenges, and a looming uncertain future.
This is a particular fire that we have been thrust into, yet our challenge is the same as those three boys.
The fire wasn't doused before they hit it, nor was the heat removed. They walked around, in the fire, unharmed and accompanied by the presence of another.
As a matter of fact, it was the presence of Someone else who caused the king to reverse his plans and have them pulled out of the fire.
When the presence of God is with you in the midst of the fire, you can survive it!! But survival isn't enough — you can have been in the fire without even smelling like smoke!
Image result for images Shadrach, Meshach, and AbednegoWe've all seen what it's like when someone still carries around the lingering residue of whatever trial they walked through. Might have been last year or last decade, but they drag around the singed clothing and the strong smell of fire wherever they go.
That isn't victory, there's no purification of faith there. It's actually a very prideful position, to wear a "badge of honor" that proclaims to everyone what they have had to deal with, what they're still dealing with, and how hard it is.
The three boys had not a shred of evidence to show for their trouble, and that is how God got the glory.
Had they limped out with burned skin, or clawed their way up the walls it might have seemed much more heroic, but would not have carried the life-changing testimony that resulted in the king's conversion.
Our challenge from this story is two-fold:
First, to set our minds on that fact that no matter how hot the fire, or how long it burns, we are convinced that our God is for us and can rescue us, He will be with us in the fire.
Second, to renew our minds daily so that our attitude, our words and our hearts are un-singed, and we aren't carrying around the smell of smoke wherever we go. Our testimony should be that people are as shocked as the king was, when they know we have a child with special needs. That will be the "evidence of His victory."

OUR DAYS ARE ORDAINED FOR US - Your whole life is written down in a book. Not only that, it was written before you were born. Psalm 139:16 says, “Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.” Days are ordained for us! But not everyone lives out the book God writes specifically for them. Instead, they write their own story, or worse, they let others write it for them. The life ordained for you is the same as the perfect will of God. It takes renewing your mind in the Word of God to know His perfect will. But it requires wisdom to build His will into your life. Today is a great day to decide to live the life God wrote specifically for you. Not only can you renew your mind in the Word to find out what that is, but you can also ask Him for the wisdom to carry it out. Be teachable to the spirit of wisdom if you need to make course corrections.

Who’s Writing Your Story?
Andrew Wommack

What if I told you that your whole life is written down in a book?
Not only that, it was written before you were born. It’s true!
Psalm 139:16 says, “Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them” (New American Standard Bible, emphasis mine).
Image result for images newborn baby in handsDays are ordained for us! But not everyone lives out the book God writes specifically for them. Instead, they write their own story, or worse, they let others write it for them.
The life ordained for you is the same as the perfect will of God.
Romans 12:2 says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” (NASB).
This shows a progression in the will of God from good to acceptable to perfect.
The question is this: How do we know the perfect will of God? Well, it’s not that mysterious.
It takes renewing your mind in the Word of God to know His perfect will. But it requires wisdom to build His will into your life.
The following proverb refers to wives and mothers building their homes, but the principle applies to everyone:
“The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.” Proverbs 14:1, NASB
A wise person builds their life, but a foolish one tears it down with their own hands. Wow!
The operative word here is “wise.”
Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
Image result for images newborn baby in handsToday is a great day to decide to live the life God wrote specifically for you.
Not only can you renew your mind in the Word to find out what that is, but you can also ask Him for the wisdom to carry it out.
Be teachable to the spirit of wisdom if you need to make course corrections.
“Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.” Proverbs 1:23, King James Version
Of course, we have the freedom to choose our own way, and God will still love us.
God’s love for us does not depend on what we do. But God wants to make His plans known.
If we want to fulfill the days ordained for us, we need to seek wisdom as the principal thing and build our lives after the book He wrote for us.
What better place to start that journey than through studying the book of Proverbs!

HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD - All who are God's sheep can hear his voice. The Word of God is true - not our experience. It is our new born-again spirit that hears God's voice. God speaks to our inner person (spirit) and our inner person hears Him. Man is a spirit, soul, and body. Our spirits are as perfect as they will ever be in heaven. If we will change our thinking so that we believe what God says in His Word about who we are and what we have, then this agreement between our spirit and soul forms a majority and our flesh will experience the life of God that has been deposited in our spirits. Prayer, Bible study, fasting, fellowship, etc. are ways of refocusing our mind's attention away from the voice of this world and back to the voice of our Shepherd who is constantly communicating with our spirit.

'But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.' - John 10:2-3

JOHN 10:1-21
This verse promises all who are God's sheep that they not only can, but that they do, hear His voice.
Many born-again people doubt the truth of this statement based on their experience.
They don't think they can hear God's voice.
However, the Word of God is true - not our experience.
The harmony between what this verse says and what our experiences say is that it is our new born-again spirit that hears God's voice.
Although God has spoken and still does speak in an audible voice at times, very few people experience this.
God speaks to our inner person (spirit) and our inner person hears Him.
The problem comes when we aren't sensitive to, or controlled by, our spirit but are walking in the vanity of our mind.
The Bible calls this walking in the flesh instead of the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-18).
If we fail to renew our minds, we can live our entire time on this earth without experiencing the abundant life that Jesus provided for us.
Listen, and you will hear His voice speak to you through His Word today.

Jamie and I are so thankful our path has crossed with yours. In fact, we believe it was a divine appointment.
