PERHAPS LOVE - John Denver - Perhaps love is like a resting place A shelter from the storm, it exists to give you comfort It is there to keep you warm, and in those times of trouble When you are most alone, the memory of love will bring you home

lyrics

Perhaps love is like a resting place
A shelter from the storm, it exists to give you comfort
It is there to keep you warm, and in those
times of trouble

When you are most alone, th
e memory of love will bring you home

Perhaps love is like a window
Perhaps an open door, it invites you to come close
It wants to show you more, and even if you lose yourself
And don't know what to do the memory of love will see you through

Oh, love to some is like a cloud
To some as strong as steel, for some a way of living
For some a way to feel, and some say love is holding on
Some say letting go, some say love
is everything

And some say they don't know

Perhaps love is like the ocean full of conflict, full of pain
Like a fire when its cold outside, or thunder when it rains
If I should live forever and all my dreams come true
My memories of love will be of you

And some say love is holding on
Some say letting go, and some say love is everything
And some say they don't know

Perhaps love is like the ocean full of conflict, full of pain
Like a fire when it's cold outside or thunder when it rains
If I should live forever and all my dreams come true
My memories of love will be of you

Perhaps Love is a duet by Placido Domingo and John Denver. It is featured on Placido’s 1981 album Perhaps Love.
The song was dedicated to John Denver’s wife, Annie Martell while they were separated and planning to get divorced.
The producer on the album, Milt Okun suggested that Placido Domingo pair with John on the song & he worked hard to get it promoted. Eventually, a radio station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania began playing it every hour on the hour.
The song peaked at #59 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #22 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Tracks chart in 1982.
Perhaps Love" is a song written by John Denver to his wife, Annie Martell (the eponym of his #1 hit "Annie's Song") during a difficult period in their lives. In an interview the day after Denver's death, Annie said that this is her favorite song of his.ttps://genius.com/Placido-domingo-and-john-denver-perhaps-love-lyrics

MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE - My faith has found a resting place, Not in device nor creed; I trust the Ever-living One, His wounds for me shall plead. I need no other argument, I need no other plea, It is enough that Jesus died, And that He died for me.

lyrics
1 My faith has found a resting place,
Not
in device nor creed;
I trust the Ever-living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.
Refrain:
I need no other argument,
I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.
2  Enough for me that Jesus saves,
This ends my fear and doubt;
A sinful soul I come to Him,
He’ll never cast me out.
[Refrain]
3  My heart is leaning on the Word,
The written Word of God,

Salvation by my Savior’s name,
Salvation through His blood.
[Refrain]
4 My great Physician heals the sick,
The lost He came to save;
For me His precious blood He shed,
For me His life He gave.
[Refrain]
