Perhaps it sounds like a contradiction in terms, but God wants you to SEE the INVISIBLE.

There’s a spiritual realm all around you, and it’s every bit as real as what you see with your natural eyes. 

The Message brings this out in paraphrasing Paul’s statement in 2 Corinthians 4:18: “There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.”

This same principle was illustrated when the Syrian army attacked Israel in 2 Kings 6:8-17.

Elisha’s servant was terrified when he saw the city surrounded by the Syrian horses and chariots.

“Alas…What shall we do?” he asked Elisha (verse 15).

The prophet gave his servant a shocking reply: “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them” (verse 16).

But the servant still wasn’t convinced. Couldn’t his master see the vast enemy army surrounding the city?

Finally, Elisha decided to pray for his servant to see into the spiritual realm:

Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.”

Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (verse 17).

Could it be that God wants to open your eyes in the same way?

The apostle Paul recognized that the believers in Ephesus needed this kind of spiritual enlightenment, so it’s likely that you do as well:

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe” (Ephesians 1:18-19 NASB).

In addition to Jacob, Paul, Elisha’s servant, and the church in Ephesus, the Bible is filled with other examples of people who were given a glimpse into the spiritual realm:

While everyone else was terrified of Goliath, David knew he served a God who was much bigger than the Philistine giant (1 Samuel 17).

When Stephen was being stoned to death by the angry crowd, he was comforted by the sight of Jesus in Heaven:

Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand (Acts 7:55 NLT).

In the midst of his troubling visions of the condition of the church and coming events in the world, the apostle John saw an open door in Heaven and the Lord sitting on His throne (Revelation 4:1-2).

He gained a new perspective when Jesus told him, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

If you are dealing with difficult situations in your life today, a glimpse into Heaven may be just what you need. 

No matter what you may see with your natural eyes, God is still sitting on His throne!

Opening Wide the Gate

What was true for Jacob is also true for us today.

God opens “gates of Heaven” in our lives through which He pours out His blessings… provision… healing… deliverance… guidance… breakthroughs… joy – and whatever else we may need!

As we draw near to Him “in the secret place” (Psalm 91:1), the Lord will touch our lives with Heaven’s supernatural bounty, healing power, and protection.

And once we experience the amazing resources God pours out through His heavenly gateway, we’ll want to share those blessings to bless and impact others.

As God’s love moves on our hearts, we will respond by sending out His hope, healing, and salvation to others.

Jesus has called us to preach and demonstrate the same transformational message that He brought, describing Heaven’s Kingdom as being “at hand” (Matthew 4:17).

When we meet those who need a financial breakthrough, we can boldly declare, “Heaven’s bounty is at hand!”

When we meet those who need God’s touch in their body, we can boldly declare, “Heaven’s healing power is at hand!”

When we meet those who need victory over addiction or oppression from the enemy, we can boldly declare, “Heaven’s power is at hand to defeat the powers of darkness!”

Because the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, God can work through YOUR hands to bring about miracles in the lives of others.

The Bible teaches that the resources of Heaven are near you today, and all you have to do is receive them by faith:

The righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (Romans 10:6-8).

God wants to bless you through His heavenly portals, enabling you to help fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

Souls in eternity will be grateful you encountered the Heaven Effect – and were moved to share its blessings with them.

The Eternal Realm through Jesus Christ

We are able to access the eternal spiritual realm through the Holy Spirit who connects us to Jesus.

He is the living Word of God.

Jesus Christ is the only God-given door that we enter into through prayer, meditation, praise and worship, dreams and vision.

Jesus was raised from the slumber of death, becoming the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep or died.

We know that death entered the world through the physical body of Adam when he sinned, so it took the spiritual body of the perfect man Jesus, to make the resurrection of the dead a reality for us.

Adam introduced death to mankind; but Jesus brought forth eternal life for everyone who believes on Him.

The weak, fleshly, naturally animated physical body that is planted in the earth decays.

The spiritually animated splendor and power of the body raised from the earth cannot decay.

The first man, Adam, came from the dust of the earth, so he shared an earthly nature with mankind and became a living soul.

The last Adam, Jesus, came from Heaven so He shared His heavenly nature with those destined for Heaven and became a life-giving Spirit.

There is a Kingdom order. The body is not enlivened first by the spiritual but by the physical.

Then after our rebirth into salvation, the Holy Spirit becomes our life-giving force.

We will not all sleep in death, but we will all be instantly changed and transformed.

Overcome Your Past in the Wilderness

Hell wants to keep you bound to the past through doubt and unbelief.

Betrayal overwhelms. Rejection and abandonment make you feel fatherless, so that hopelessness can establish iniquitous patterns in your generational bloodlines that block the measure in which the Holy Spirit can move.

The enemy develops strategies to compound your distractions, to plunder your losses by creating captivity, so that you never have vision to harvest your field.

Learn to bring your first fruits to God to recover loss and to be restored.

God's grace causes us to gain momentum that Hell can't stop in order to advance God's Kingdom.

We must learn to face off our enemies in the wilderness or they will attack to overtake, and try to captivate us until we lose vision.

Satan wants us to die in the wilderness (Matthew Chapters 3 and 4).

To overcome, we must be led by the Spirit into the wilderness to face off the enemy of our future (Luke 4).

To overcome, resist the temptation of demanding your physical material needs be met now (Luke 4:3-4, Deuteronomy 8:3, Exodus 7).

Battle the temptation of desiring a greater glory and dominion than your true sphere of authority can sustain.

Credit and praise God for your abilities (Luke 4:5-8, Deuteronomy 6:13).

Those who went before us did not overcome their demons, so we must not only conquer our demons but also the previous generation's demons to insure the success of the next generation.

The wilderness will war against your new identity.

We need to put our emotional, carnal desires to death or Satan's lies will try to control and rule our future.

No more fear! Be bold to break into a new realm of empowerment.

It is time to leave the old behind and transition into a time of activation that will propagate what will manifest in the future.

Dismantle the Enemy in Your Life!

Demand the enemy to leave your presence and divine alignments, but carefully watch his movement and learn his patterns in the wilderness (Luke 4:13).

Remember, presumption gets you out of proper timing and you will miss the access to your promise.

Don't let rejection stop you (Luke 4:16-30; Matthew 13:53).

Remember your purpose and call (Luke 4:8-12, Psalm 91:11-12).

If you have a religious spirit, the enemy will use the Word of God against you.

Learn to discern the spirit of truth.

Jesus prayed for Peter to overcome so he could exit the wilderness without his emotional weaknesses, to obtain the grandeur of his future, hope and promised destiny.

Dismantle the trip wires and explosive land mines that Leviathan has set over the threshold.

Judah's praise goes through the door first, to release the wind of grace for breakthrough.

Decree: "No snake or dragon is going to keep me from going through the door!"

Put the python spirit under your feet and crush his head. This will cause him to release his coiled constrictions so you are free to walk through the door.

The struggle through the dark night of the soul ends when we agree with God's process, repent and stop resisting change.

Exit the Wilderness Through the Everlasting Door

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door (Jesus), but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door (Jesus) is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear His voice; and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. And when He brings out His own sheep, He goes before them; and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers" - (John 10:1-17).

Get in touch with what causes you anxiety and fear, then roll your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you.

God and His angelic army split the Red Sea so we can walk right through it on dry land.

"For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries," - (1 Corinthians 16:9).

Believers are able to discern the lion behind the door, and the lion that stands before the door as we are often caught between two roars.

The Lion of Judah roars, "Do not fear, open the door, gain energy and momentum to run into your inheritance to occupy and advance, for I am with you! War forward against your enemies to unlock your financial fullness of provision for the next season."

The other roar is the enemy. His lying voice tries to stop us in our path, to devour through fear, intimidation and accusation.

A new spiritual perspective will remove the scales from our eyes so we are able to see new contacts, doors and resources that are within our ability to reach, develop, patent, copyright, market and obtain their wealth.

When our spiritual eyes are opened to see God's unseen Kingdom, we come into the realization that God is omnipresent.

His angels and a great cloud of witnesses have always been around us.

God has gifted His seers, prophets and millions of Believers to view, hear, and participate in this invisible realm while we live on earth.

Learn to utilize time to your benefit in order to accomplish God's will, or destiny will be postponed for another generation.

God is paving the way. It is time to catch up with what is already waiting for us on the other side to obtain and fulfill our destinies.

The promises of God are on the move, so align to move with His promises.

The greatest power in the universe is love.
