NUMBERS IN THE UNIVERSE - God's creation is based on mathematical laws of numbers that govern everything around us. The awesome complexity of the earth, as well as the immense expanse of space and all it contains, is witnesses that an intelligent Being with tremendous power made them. The numbers we discover related to our universe are so amazing that every human who understands them should conclude that God DOES exist. All substances in the known universe are composed of a number of elements. Elements are one of a class of substances that cannot be separated into simpler substances by chemical means. The way in which the elements are arranged may seem complex but there is a design behind it. The numbers we find in our vast universe use mathematical principles that offer a daily testament to the existence and power of a Creator God!

How were numbers used to create the universe we are so familiar with?
How does the very existence of creation PROVE that a divine Being MUST exist?
God's creation is based on mathematical laws of numbers that govern everything around us.
The awesome complexity of the earth, as well as the immense expanse of space and all it contains, is witnesses that an intelligent Being with tremendous power made them.
The numbers we discover related to our universe are so amazing that every human who understands them should conclude that God DOES exist (Romans 1:20)!
The stars in our Milky Way galaxy number more than 100 billion!
Astronomers have estimated that the total amount of galaxies in the observable universe numbers around 200 BILLION!
The current diameter of the observable area we see from earth is about 93 BILLION light years. The width of all that is out in space (the parts we can and cannot see) is bigger still.
In comparison, the width of a typical galaxy is only 30,000 light-years.
The first natural division of time we find when God created the universe, and earth, is a day.
When God ordained periods of rest and worship for Israel he marked them with a seven, one of his special numbers. The seventh day is a weekly holy day.
The seventh Hebrew month has special Biblical Feast days within it. The seventh year was deemed a year of rest for the land.
Every seven times seven years (49) marked a very special period known as the year of Jubilee.
We see a law of numbers in nature as well. For example, we see a division in the animal kingdom into seven main sections or classifications.
For an animal such as a dog, they are further classified as a vertebrata, then as a Mammalia, then of the order of Carnivore, the family of Canidae, the genus of dog and a species of retriever.
A seven-fold division from the plant kingdom for a Tea Rose (one division) would be in the kingdom of vegetables, sub-division of Phanerogamia, and then a further division into Dicotyledon, Rosiflorae, Rosaciae, and finally a genus of rose.
In the universe, life revolves around law and order for vegetables as well. For those plants that grow indoors, the numerial three prevails.
For those plants that grow outside, the numeric five is prevailing. Indian corn grains are usually arranged in even numbers, but never an odd one!
The growth of leaves on a plant appears in a particular arrangement. Some leaves are alternately spaced while others are spaced opposite, while still others are arranged in a spiral pattern.
Chemistry, unlike geology, does not have its theories consistently revamped by newer one.
All substances in the known universe are composed of a number of elements. Elements are one of a class of substances that cannot be separated into simpler substances by chemical means.
The way in which the elements are arranged may seem complex but there is a design behind it.
All elements in the known universe, when magnetized, fall into two classes. A class arranges itself in the direction of west and east and does so at 90-degree angles to the magnetic force lines.
The other class arranges itself to align with our magnetic pole. Monads are elements that combine with one and only one atom.
Elements that come together with two atoms of another substance are called Dyads. Those that combine with three atoms are Triads, etc.
Some of the most important elements are a multiple of either 4 or 7 (or very closely so). The atomic weight of iron (Chemical symbol: Fe) is 56 (7 x 8), silver's weight (Ag) is about 108 (4 x 27), and so on.
Sound in our universe is a wave, an oscillation of pressure transmitted through the air (or other substance) within frequencies that are heard.
Experiments have determined a fixed set of vibrations for each note. If one looks at the number of vibrations per note, it will be found that the numbers eleven and seven are prominent.
The numbers we find in our vast universe use mathematical principles that offer a daily testament to the existence and power of a Creator God!

THE NUMBER SEVEN IN THE BIBLE - Seven is the number of completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual). There are 7 annual Holy Days, beginning with Passover and ending with the Last Great Day (the day after the Feast of Tabernacles ends in the fall). Jesus performed seven miracles on God's holy Sabbath Day (which ran from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), thus affirming its continued sacredness to God and necessity in the life of the believer. In the book of Revelation there are seven churches, seven angels to the seven churches, seven seals, seven trumpet plagues, seven thunders and the seven last plagues. The first resurrection of the dead takes place at the 7th trumpet, completing salvation for the Church.

The Number Seven
Image result for images the number seven in the bibleThe Meaning of Numbers: The Number 7

Used 735 times (54 times in the book of Revelation alone), the number 7 is the foundation of God's word.
If we include with this count how many times 'sevenfold' (6) and 'seventh' (119) is used, our total jumps to 860 references.
Seven is the number of completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual).
It derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to God's creation of all things.
According to some Jewish traditions, the creation of Adam occurred on September 26, 3760 B.C. (or the first day of Tishri, which is the seventh month on the Hebrew calendar).
The word 'created' is used 7 times describing God's creative work (Genesis 1:1, 21, 27 three times; 2:3; 2:4).
There are 7 days in a week and God's Sabbath is on the 7th day.
The Bible, as a whole, was originally divided into 7 major divisions. They are:
- 1) the Law;
- 2) the Prophets;
- 3) the Writings, or Psalms;
- 4) the Gospels and Acts;
- 5) the General Epistles;
- 6) the Epistles of Paul; and
- 7) the book of Revelation.
The total number of originally inspired books was forty-nine, or 7 x 7, demonstrating the absolute perfection of the Word of God.
Appearances of the number seven
There are at least seven men in the Old Testament who are specifically mentioned as a man of God. They are:
- Moses (Joshua 14:6),
- David (2 Chronicles 8:14),
- Samuel (1 Samuel 9:6, 14),
- Shemaiah (1 Kings 12:22),
- Elijah (1 Kings 17:18),
- Elisha (2 Kings 5:8) and
- Igdaliah (Jeremiah 35:4).
In the book of Hebrews, written by the apostle Paul, he uses seven titles to refer to Christ. The titles are 'Heir of all things' (Hebrews 1:2), 'Captain of our salvation' (2:10), 'Apostle' (3:1), 'Author of salvation' (5:9), 'Forerunner' (6:20), 'High Priest' (10:21) and the 'Author and finisher of our faith' (12:2).
In Matthew 13 Jesus is quoted as giving seven parables (Matthew 13:3 - 9, 24 - 30, 31 - 32, 33, 44, 45 - 46, 47). Seven Psalms are ascribed to David in the New Testament (Psalm 2, 16, 32, 41, 69, 95 and 109).
In the book of Revelation there are seven churches, seven angels to the seven churches, seven seals, seven trumpet plagues, seven thunders and the seven last plagues. The first resurrection of the dead takes place at the 7th trumpet, completing salvation for the Church.
How is number seven linked with God's annual Feast Days?
There are 7 annual Holy Days, beginning with Passover and ending with the Last Great Day (the day after the Feast of Tabernacles ends in the fall).
The cycle of the holy days is completed in 3 festival seasons by the 7th month of the sacred calendar: Passover and Unleavened Bread, 1st month; Pentecost, 3rd month; and Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles and Last Great Day, 7th month.
Additional info on the Biblical Meaning of 7
Jesus performed seven miracles on God's holy Sabbath Day (which ran from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), thus affirming its continued sacredness to God and necessity in the life of the believer.
1.        Jesus healed the withered hand of a man attending synagogue services (Matthew 12:9)
2.    At a Capernaum synagogue he casts out an unclean spirit that possessed a man (Mark 1:21)
3.        Right after the above miracle Jesus heals Peter's wife's mother of a fever (Mark 1:29)
4.        A woman attending synagogue, who was made sick by a demon for eighteen years, is released from her bondage (Luke 13:11)
5.        At a Pharisee's house eating a meal with the host and several lawyers, Jesus heals a man with dropsy (Luke 14:2)
6.        A man who is disabled and unable to walk is healed at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:8-9)
7.        Jesus heals a man born blind at the pool of Siloam (John 9:14)
