5 Ways God Speaks to Us Every Day
.
God
speaks to us every day - but, He never, never, never disagrees with Scripture,
nor does He lead us down selfish, deceptive, or godless paths. God speaks
through Creation - His Word – Believers - Circumstances - His Spirit. Is it
God's voice you're hearing today?

God speaks through Creation - His Word –
Believers - Circumstances - His Spirit
God speaks to us every day!
1. He speaks in
creation: "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible
qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being
understood from what has been made..." Romans 1:20
2. God speaks through
His God-breathed Word which is "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting
and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
3. He speaks to us
through His Holy Spirit, helping us apply Scripture to each situation in our
lives (John
14:26).
4. God speaks through
other Believers who help us live in ways that please God (Titus 2).
5. He speaks through circumstances, opening and closing doors and sometimes using supernatural means (Acts 16:6-10).
But whenever God speaks, He never, never, never disagrees with Scripture, nor does He lead us down selfish, deceptive, or godless paths.
Is it God's voice you're hearing today?
Hi!
I'm Gail -- a wife to my best friend since 1970, a mother since 1973 and a
grandmother 2003.
Born in Colorado but raised all over the U.S., I've been an Army wife (22
years) and a missionary to Budapest, Hungary (5 years). But the
title I'm most proud to have is "follower-of-Jesus" (40+ years).
I started Bite Size Bible Study as a supplement to Bible Love Notes, my site
that features 1-Minute devotions every weekday.
I have a Masters Degree from Columbia Biblical Seminary, but most of what I've
learned about the Bible has been "on the job training" during my 60+
years of life. I've always loved studying the Bible, and I started writing
Bible studies for my personal use over 25 years ago.
I need to be challenged, encouraged, corrected and comforted by God's Word, so
I study it and write what God is teaching me.
I hope you'll enjoy these Bible studies. Subscribe and have them sent to your
email box and/or download them,* if you'd like. I pray they will draw
you into a deeper understanding of God and His Word.

1.
Read Romans 1:20 above and think about the colors, textures, variety, and
design of nature. This week look for messages of God's divine nature in His
Creation.
2. Think through last week and ask God what messages He was
sending you in the blessings of your week.
James 1:17: - “Every
good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the
heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
3. Ask God what messages He was sending in your difficulties,
interruptions, and hardships this last week.
1 Peter 1:3-9: - “Praise be to
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us
new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, 4 and
into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is
kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the
coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In
all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to
suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These
have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith — of greater worth than
gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may result in praise, glory
and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though
you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now,
you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for
you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
