SIGNS OF THE END TIMES - As we approach the final days, there will be an increase in false prophets, and those claiming to be Christ. The days of Noah were filled with violence and God's judgment. An epidemic of uncontrolled hatred and violence is evident in terrorism and radical religious groups, racially motivated killings, and the murder of innocent people and children in every part of the world. Just like in the days of Noah, people are forced to rely on other countries for survival when they should be turning to God.

6 Signs Of The End Times
Author Jeff Kinley, looks at Bible prophecy coming to pass in current times in his book "As It Was In The Days Of Noah."
Is the Bible trying to warn us?
by Jana Duckett
Theologian and author of As It Was In The Days of Noah: Warnings from Bible Prophecy About the Coming Global Storm, Jeff Kinley, seems to think so.
"Scripture reveals that God will once again bring worldwide judgement on mankind. But unlike the Flood, it won't be a single event, but rather a series of happenings that occur all over the world," says Kinley.
"The Flood demonstrates that God is patient, but has a set limit on what He will endure. And though devastating and deadly, He is nevertheless a just and righteous judgment that offers refuge."
For those who doubt the validity of the Bible or refuse to take an honest look at today's culture, Kinley shares six signs and clues that indicate the world is heading toward global judgement ...
Difficult Economic Times
We've all heard it in the news and it's definitely a topic that is swarming the country -- the state of the economy.
As U.S. national debt continues to soar and borrowing limits increase, so does the potential to default on loans.
Across the world, countries large and small are not meeting their financial obligations and sinking deeper and deeper into debt.
Just like in the days of Noah, people are forced to rely on other countries for survival when they should be turning to God.
The Bible beckons this as it read, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Violence, Brutality & School Shootings
Kinley says there's an epidemic of uncontrolled hatred and violence in our world that is evident in radical hate crimes of terrorism and radical religious groups, racially motivated killings, and the murder of innocent people and children in every part of the world.
In 2011, there were over 1.2 million violent crimes in America.
And every year, 15 thousand homicides are reported.
In Matthew 27:37 Jesus says, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
The days of Noah were filled with violence and God's judgment.
Rather than inciting fear and anxiety Kinley encourages Christians to understand the prophetic unfoldings of today and live a faith-filled life sharing Jesus.
Identity Theft
Personal and financial information is no longer safe from hackers, as evident in the recent breach of credit card information.
This concern includes the vulnerability of email passwords, webcam imaged and phone conversations through wiretapping.
The BIble tells us that the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
We understand the current times literally, but through the eyes of the Bible the enemy has been attempting to steal identity for quite some time.
Kinley admonishes Christians to "live wisely and redeem the time."
50 Shades Of Immorality
This generation is oversexed and undermotivated spiritually.
Moral boundaries are almost non-existent in our sexually free culture, where the "norm" is sharing sexually explicit photos, sex tapes and "sexting."
The ushering in of mobile devices and social networks have made sexual behavior more prevalent as Kinley writes, "As in Noah's day, ours is a world that loves sex, and today it's used to sell everything from chewing gum to cars. Sex is everywhere."
The Persecution of Believers
It was reported last year that nearly 100 million Christians had been persecuted across the globe.
This number doubled since 2012.
Kinley shares that the Bible reaffirms this as Jesus says, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another" (Matthew 24:9-10).
Church Falloff
As the end times approach, people will fall away from their faith (1 Timothy 4:1).
Our world is bombarded with false faiths, new age philosophies, and spiritual gurus.
As we approach the final days, there will be an increase in false prophets, and those claiming to be Christ.
The idea of revival in the church, Kinley, believes is a new one and not mentioned in prophecy through Scripture.
Don't Be Afraid, God Is For You
As It Was in the Days of Noahreminds us that in the days of Noah as well as today, God's righteous and holy character will stand.
While Christians anticipate Christ's return, they, like Noah, need to build a life that invites others to salvation through their example.
Stay in the fight and be encouraged with God's words, "I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly..." (Genesis 17:1).
