while the taste of the forbidden fruit was still

about His gracious way to save them

Satan hissed his evil lies and Adam and Eve chose to sin.
If we'd been in God's place, we'd probably have destroyed
mankind then and there.
But our loving God immediately set a plan of redemption in
place and started whispering clues.
In every book of the
Old Testament we can hear those clues, if we're listening.
And the very first
clue came when God addressed the serpent after the Fall in Genesis 3:15: "And I will cause
hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her
offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel."
Whispered within this verse is the promise that Satan and
his demon offspring would be at odds with Eve and her offspring.
But the most important offspring of woman, Jesus Christ,
would crush Satan's head with a fatal wound.
Don't overlook this wonderful truth: while
the taste of the forbidden fruit was still on Adam and Eve's lips,
our loving God was already whispering clues about His gracious way to save them.
Wow!
Would you like to know what happened to you and me when
Adam sinned? Check out this week's Bite Size Bible study: Suffering from Adam's Sin.
Hi! I'm Gail Burton Purath.
I started Bible Love Notes to give people a minute of Scriptural encouragement
in their busy day.
I don't have all the answers, but
since I asked Christ to be my Lord and
Savior in 1974, I've been learning from the One Who has all the answers!
I'm still a sinner, a learner, a student who falls down and disappoints God at times. But it's my desire to grow closer to the Lord, day by day, minute by minute.I need to be challenged, encouraged, corrected and comforted, and I think you do as well...so let's learn together about the love of God--a love that is so vast that we will always be discovering new and wonderful things about it.
